ukraine service project

At Steamboat Christian Center, we believe that our love for God is best demonstrated and authenticated by how we love people, both locally and globally. And when we think about loving people around the world, we consider it both a privilege and a responsibility. As much as has been given to us, we are honored to give back. We also like to say this! “Do for one what you wish you could do for all.”

SCC currently has five main service projects around the world, one of which is a unique serving opportunity we have in the country of Ukraine.

about the project

what scc is doing

Through the partnership with ICA Kyiv, which is a local church doing so much great work in the city of Kiev, and Doug & Lisa Renee Tumminello from SCC, we will be helping finish construction on a building (the blue building in the photos) to house refugees and people in need. A portion of the building is already finished, and houses a sober living program for men in recovery. We are partnering to provide funds for construction materials, items for needy local villagers , and outreach supplies for children and families in the area.

100% of your giving will go towards these efforts, and provide so much hope and relief for people living in the devastation of the war in Ukraine.
