At Steamboat Christian Center, we believe that our children and students are not only the church of tomorrow, but they are the church of today! We want this next generation to be healthy followers of Christ. Through age-specific lessons, creative activities, and safe enviroments, your children will learn biblical truths and real-life application. We partner with parents & leaders every week to help kids & students grow in their faith!
What to expect
On your first visit, visit the Check In area it the main foyer, where you’ll be greeted by a SK volunteer to meet your family. We’ll be there every step of the way (right up to your child’s room), so feel free to ask questions!
Secure Check-In
Because we value safety, we will gather some info from you at check-in. You’ll receive matching identification stickers, one for your child and one for you. After the service, you’ll need your matching sticker to pick up your child.
At SK, we value creative, relational engagement with kids to help them love God and love people. We also value safety, age-appropriate learning, partnering with parents, and of course laughing hard, loud and often!
SPECIAL NEEDS
If you have a child with special needs we would love to accommodate you and your family by serving your child. If you could let us know by Friday before you attend we would greatly appreciate it. That way you and your child can have the best experience with Steamboat Kids. You can reach out for more information. We can’t wait to see you! .
SK Age Groups
Babies
Your little ones will be so well taken care of in our quietest room on the campus by loving parents and volunteers who are trained to take care of your precious ones while you relax and enjoy the service.
Toddlers
Toddlers have a chance to run out some energy on an
exciting bounce house and with fun, interactive songs. Then we transition into snack time, creative activities and an age-appropriate Bible lesson.
Pre-K/K
Pre-K and Kindergarteners meet in the Kids building downstairs. It is an incredible space to sing songs, create fun things and play games, all while learning about who God is and how they can love Him!
1st-5th
First thru fifth graders have an absolute blast, with all kinds of games to play before and after the experience, dynamic worship, fun and exciting age-appropriate Bible teachings, videos, games, a prize store and a lot more!
Help your kids fall in love with God’s word! The Bible App for Kids is made just for them and it’s free! Through an animated advenure, your kids can explore the big stories of the bible, earn rewards for special challenges, and begin a life time love of God’s Word. It’s so much fun!
