The SCC Internship equips ministry leaders for life! Candidates will gain a greater sense of who they are, who God is, and what they were created to do. This program prepares, equips and empowers young adults for their next step into ministry, college, or into their career path, and we would love for you to be a part!

REQUIREMENTS
Hours: The SCC Internship provides additional staffing resources for SCC ministries, and each intern provides 25 hours ministry work per week for the church. Interns are encouraged to work outside of the church but no more than 20-25 hours per week.
Discipleship: Each intern will successfully complete the Protégé Training Experience.
Goals & Future Planning: Interns will set personal goals and develop a 9-month plan that will be routinely monitored by Pastor Jeff Sublett and Chaille Brindley (intern mentor coordinator).
Weekly: Interns will attend weekly training meetings and attend all SCC church services.
Bible: Interns will develop a regular Bible study plan and read the entire New Testament.
Prayer: Interns gather together once a week and pray for 30 minutes and worship.
Facilities: Interns will keep their living space clean and clean up after using church for personal activities.
Schedule: Interns will develop a schedule that is approved by Pastor Jeff including church work, training, outside work, free time, etc. All interns must wake up by 9:00 a.m. each morning. This will encourage normal rest routines.
Connect Groups: Interns are required to attend and/or possibly lead a SCC Connect group.
Substances: Interns will abstain from illegal activities (such as drug use, vandalism or underage drinking) as well as the following: improper use of social media, sexual activity outside of marriage, smoking or consuming marijuana, or pornography.

A place to live, including a bed and dresser, bathroom/shower facilities, parking spot and kitchen area

$500 monthly expense stipend

Protege training experience for personal and ministry development

Regular mentoring via Protege and one-on-ones with SCC mentors and pastors.

Mission trips and service opportunities. On-the-job training in various aspects of church ministry
